Welcome to BBC Young Reporter
BBC Young Reporters is a journalism project for students aged 11 to 18 across the UK. As school reporters, we make the news and upload it to a website that is then linked to the BBC via an interactive map.

At Hockerill, a group of Year 8 and Year 9 reporters has met weekly to prepare for News Day. We have planned our articles, carried out surveys, arranged interviews, and practised presentation skills.

The work of School Reporters is highlighted across BBC programmes in the UK on News Day in mid-March each year.
